A. control accuracy: the more the stepper motor's phase and the number of shots, the higher the accuracy. The more accurate the encoder, the higher the accuracy of the encoder.
B. low frequency characteristic: stepping motor is prone to low frequency vibration at low speed. When it works at low speed, damping technology or subdivision technology is usually adopted to overcome low frequency vibration. Servo motor operates very smoothly, even at low speed, it will not vibrate.
C. torque frequency characteristics: the output torque of stepper motor decreases with the increase of speed, and then sharply decreases at high speed. The servo motor outputs constant torque at rated speed, and it is constant power output at rated speed.
D. overload capacity: the stepping motor does not have the overload ability, and the servo motor has a strong overload ability.
E. performance: stepper motor control for open loop control, the start frequency is too high or too much load lose steps or blocking phenomenon, off high speed is prone to overshoot, AC servo drive system for closed-loop control, drive directly to the motor encoder feedback signal sampling, the internal structure of position loop and the speed loop, generally does not appear the stepper motor lose step or overshoot phenomenon, the control performance is more reliable;
F. speed response performance: stepping motor needs 100 milliseconds from static acceleration to working speed, and AC servo system has better acceleration performance. It usually takes only a few milliseconds, and can be used in control occasions that require fast start and stop.
