Gyro is one of the basic measuring elements of inertial navigation and inertial guidance systems. Dynamically Tuned Gyro (DTG) is a non-liquid floating, dry elastic support, electromechanical flexible gyro. As a mature rigid-body rotor gyro, its accuracy range is between 0.01°/h~1°/h. Dynamically-tuned gyroscope, also known as dynamic gyro, has the advantages of simple structure, small size, light weight, low cost, etc. It is widely used in aviation, marine, missile, spacecraft, guidance and navigation systems, oilfield exploration and development, military and civilian applications.
The DTG refers to a gyroscope supported by a flexible joint consisting of two pairs of orthogonal torsion bars and a balance ring frame through a gyro rotor. By using the negative elastic moment generated by the dynamic effect, the positive elastic moment of the elastic torsion bar is cancelled out, so that the rotor is in a free-rotor state without a moment and the precision of the gyroscope is improved.
