Unmannedsystemstechnology website on January 31, 2019 reported] inertial measurement technology provider ACEINNA properties can be built-in inertial sensor announced a new type of dual-frequency real-time optimal dynamic inertial navigation system (RTK INS) -- INS1000, this product can be used in unmanned systems such as automatic driving and precision agriculture.
ACEINNA embedded its 9-dof inertial sensor technology into the INS1000, which can realize the vehicle's dead reckoning function in urban canyons, tree-lined roads, tunnels, underground passageways, Bridges and other environments limited by the global navigation satellite system (GNSS).The tight coupling between the dual-frequency RTK and the GNSS and inertial sensors provides centimeter-level accuracy, strong reliability and superior performance during GNSS outages.
Mike Horton, chief technology officer at ACEINNA, said: "without access to the navigation and positioning information provided by satellites, autonomous vehicles will be out of orbit. The INS1000 can provide the necessary detailed position and course accuracy at a price that can be met by start-ups and fleet vehicle deployments."As a leading supplier to the precision agricultural automation market, ACEINNA is committed to reducing the cost and complexity of GNSS/INS solutions for widespread use in automotive advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) applications.
The INS1000 is an integrated navigation system consisting of an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and other sensors that provide position, speed and attitude information to the vehicle. The main auxiliary sensor USES a dual-frequency (L1/L2) dual-antenna GNSS receiver. There is also support for a distance measurement indicator (DMI) that can be attached to the wheels of the vehicle/robot to measure the rotation speed of the wheels.Integrated DMI provides solutions for improvement in confined environments such as urban canyons, tunnels, warehouses, indoor facilities, and campuses.
The horizontal position accuracy of the INS1000 is 2cm (RTK), the vertical position accuracy is 3cm (RTK), and the horizontal and vertical speed accuracy is 0.01m/s and 0.02m/s, respectively, which can provide precise navigation capabilities required for autonomous vehicle driving, vehicle track testing, precision agriculture and construction markets.
INS1000 is compatible with all major global satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, beidou, Galileo, SBAS);It supports USB, Ethernet, controller local area network (CAN) and rs-232 interfaces. It supports dual GNSS antennas for precise navigation in both static and dynamic scenarios and in complex magnetic environments.
Easy-to-use embedded software has extensive configuration and diagnostic capabilities. For optimal flexibility, these tools can configure the output position, initialize the heading, the IMU transform matrix, the GNSS antenna lever arm, and the NTRIP client. The control software can record and decode the output data from the system, or use a Web application to draw the results on a map.
