At 11:22 on November 3, China successfully launched the high-resolution Earth observation system (Special High-Specification Special) high-scoring No. 7 satellite with the Long March 4 B carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. Three satellites, including the high-scoring test satellite, the Sudan Science Experiment Satellite No. 1, and the Tianyi No. 15 satellite.

As the first civilian sub-meter optical transmission stereo surveying satellite in China, the high-scoring No. 7 satellite will play an important role in land surveying and mapping, urban-rural construction, and statistical surveys, providing a strong guarantee for urban agglomeration development planning and agricultural and rural construction. .

The high-scoring No.7 satellite is the scientific research satellite with the highest accuracy in mapping accuracy in the high-series series satellites. It is equipped with a payload such as a two-line array stereo camera and a laser altimeter, which breaks through the sub-meter stereo mapping camera technology and can obtain high Spatial resolution optical stereoscopic data and high-precision laser altimetry data not only have the same orbital front-view stereo imaging capability and sub-meter spatial resolution advantages, but also can use the high-precision elevation information obtained by the laser altimeter to greatly enhance the optics. The high-precision accuracy of the three-dimensional image under uncontrolled conditions can realize the three-dimensional satellite mapping of the national 1:10000 scale satellite, which can meet the requirements of surveying and mapping, housing construction, statistics and other users in basic surveying and mapping, global geographic information security, urban and rural construction monitoring and evaluation, and agricultural survey statistics. The urgent need for high-precision three-dimensional surveying and mapping data, improve the level of surveying and mapping satellite engineering in China, and improve the self-sufficiency rate of high-resolution stereo mapping images in China.
